Per-Candle Math
Total batch cost ÷ # of candles = Cost per candle:
Sale price − Cost per candle = Profit per candle:
Profit margin % (Profit per candle ÷ Sale price × 100):
Worked Example
$42.00 batch cost ÷ 6 candles = $7.00 cost per candle.
$20.00 sale price − $7.00 cost = $13.00 profit per candle.
Profit margin: $13.00 ÷ $20.00 × 100 = 65%.
$20.00 sale price − $7.00 cost = $13.00 profit per candle.
Profit margin: $13.00 ÷ $20.00 × 100 = 65%.
