Wax Fill Calculator

Enter your container's inside measurements and batch size — get exactly how much wax to melt, so you stop over-pouring.

Weights use typical melted densities for the wax you pick. Blends vary — check your supplier's sheet for exact figures.

Based on container volume and typical melted density for the wax you pick (soy 0.86, paraffin 0.90, coconut 0.92, beeswax 0.96 g/ml; blends use 0.90 as a typical figure) — always weigh your wax on a digital scale rather than eyeballing it. Then use the batch calculator to work out your fragrance oil amounts.

How these numbers were calculated

Tip: Measure the inside diameter and the height you actually fill to — not the full vessel height. Most makers leave ½" of headspace below the rim.
