Golden rules: stir fragrance for a full 2 minutes after adding. Never leave melting wax unattended. Use a thermometer every time — guessing is how batches get ruined.
Quick tips
- Cooler pours = smoother tops, fewer sinkholes (soy especially).
- Warm your jars slightly in a low oven to reduce wet spots.
- Second pour / relief holes: poke holes around the wick after the first pour sets, then top off.
- Cure: soy 7–14 days, coconut blends 7–10 days, paraffin 3–5 days before judging scent throw.
