What is the best wick for soy candles?

CD wicks are the most popular choice for soy wax — they handle soy’s cooler burn well. ECO wicks are a good alternative.

How do I know if my wick is too small?

The telltale sign is tunneling — only the center melts while a ring of hard wax remains at the edges. Wick up one size and re-test.

Do I need a different wick for each fragrance?

Ideally you re-test for each one. Different fragrance oils burn differently, and a wick that works for one scent may tunnel or soot with another.
